Buying property or developing land in Costa Rica means navigating a water system that can feel confusing from abroad. CR Water Engineering is led by Ingeniero Jordan Godinez Benavides, a licensed agricultural engineer (Colegiado IAG-32584) and graduate of the Costa Rica Institute of Technology (TEC), with a Master’s degree in Water Engineering and Urban Resource Management and nearly 10 years of experience working directly with Costa Rica’s water regulations. Of those years, 5 were spent at Costa Rica’s Dirección de Aguas (MINAE) approving water concessions for wells, springs, rivers, and streams nationwide – and Jordan is also a registered SETENA consultant (094-2021).
We work closely with real estate agents, developers, and property owners – most of them based outside Costa Rica – to make sure every water study and permit is handled correctly the first time.
